Interesting, right? Well, easier said than done. Let me give you an example. Say you really want to be able to zip your jeans without going into a shame spiral about chips and chocolate. Maybe, you know that walking a few times a week will help you alleviate some joint discomfort but you just feel too tired and uncomfortable to take the time to stick to your promise to self. Or you've wondered about cutting inflammatory foods out of your life but are just too busy to do anything but grab takeout.
Keep reading because your beliefs running the show in your mind are able to be uprooted. You likely know that I have been on quite the personal development journey in my adult life, constantly learning and refining my life. In November, my hubs and I are going to a deep dive event and while I prepare to attend Unleash the Power Within, Matt and I have been doing some prep work. Developing my own unique person practice has been my desire for the past several years and still there are days I talk myself out of it. Recently I have changed that with fierce conviction that I am still shocked by my results... all because I considered these forces in my mind. I remind myself with a little note about the pain of being reactive in my days and staying stuck, unclear and fearful (literally I think I may died having never actually lived) when I don't practice and the pleasure of feeling more loved, connected, plugged in, guided and alive with purpose.
I want to remind you that for a long time I would check out a book at the library, sign up for a free webinar, watch youtube, listen to podcasts, take yoga at the gym and the more work I do, the more value I see in higher levels of this growth. Over the past 5 years I have taken baby steps of feeling worthy of investing in my self-growth, ability to serve others, and personal peace. So, what's that one thing you know you should stop putting off and just get after it? What pain and pleasure do you currently associate?

Change it to a pain if you don't make the change and a pleasure if you do.
Write it and stick it where you see it daily. Now...get after it!
When we can visually see a little note on the bedside table, inside the mirror of the medicine cabinet, on the fridge in the car…we will be promoting our mind that it is not in control of what we believe and hence the outcome we experience in our life.
Let’s take it just a step further…
I want you to close your eyes and breath deeply while you visualize yourself having successfully changed this thing you desire. See yourself living your life at the weight you desire, in the relationship, with the bank account, doing your great work, in the healthy healed body, in the environment around you.
Write down a detailed description of what you saw.
Now close your eyes and settle back into this movie of you living out this desire. What does it feel like? Tune into your heart space. What emotions live there? What color is this sensation. Sit and investigate as long as possible until you can get really in touch with this vibrational essence.
Now write down every detail of the feeling you desire. When you read about the pain you avoid and the pleasure you gain by taking action be sure you pair it with these feelings. When you are in the day to day work of making the changes affirm to yourself how good it feels to create your reality.
If we don’t choose the beliefs that govern our thoughts…the ones that have been programed will gladly lead. Live your life on your terms…do not allow life to live you. It will gladly lead from the beliefs that have been planted there unless you decide what you believe to be true.
You got this, it is your right as a human to decide what life you deserve and trust me, you deserve bliss, we all do! Life is good~go play!
